Act II - today we finished Act II and took a quiz.

Begin Act III - 1-2 Block: we finished Act III - great job reading everyone! - and will continue with Act IV on Friday; 5-6 Block: we were able to read until "Mary Warren: 'I cannot lie no more. I am with God, I am with God.'/But she breaks into sobs at the thought of it, and the right door opens, and enter Susanna Walcott, Mercy Lewis, Betty Parris, and finally Abigail. Cheever comes to Danforth." We will pick up where we left off on Friday - please remember who you were if you read for us today!

- ALL: Your character chart is now a note taking "packet" - I do not want this to become busy work. Please use it as a tool that will help you either prepare for the in-class assessment on Monday, 4/17, or - for IOP candidates - make sure you have either two acts completed, or two characters completed.
- Also, for most of my previous students, The Sorrow of War is one of their favorite books we read, and we annotate it instead of journals. amazon.com has it for $9.56 and Barnes and Noble carries it for $10.66. We have copies on campus, a limited number, if you would like to use post-it notes instead.
